A wonderfully large box arrived at our house yesterday. It was a treat for us all to be home and open it together (though it had my name on it!)

Max thoroughly enjoyed opening it and pretending to read the card.

Inside a was a giant gorgeous basket from Fabulous Yarns filled with blue sky organic cotton hanks, straight and circular bamboo needles size 8, sparkling jeweled stitch markers and a truly lovely book of knitting patterns for babies and moms called "Natural Knits." Love this! Wow, what a wonderfully thoughtful gift, thank you so much "Gamma Sherry." I can't wait to start knitting some of these darling projects — I'd better hurry with less than 15 weeks till meee due date. Will blog all of course.

It was also heart-warmingly sweet to hear Max say "look, I'm knitting mom!"
